The Launch of Germantown's Community Rain Barrel Program!

This past summer, we partnered with The Great American Rain Barrel Company to offer a Community Program for Germantown residents to order discounted rain barrels. On July 13th, twenty-one rain barrels were distributed to town residents. The barrels were 100% re-purposed, food-grade, UV protected, & BPA-free barrels from right across the Massachusetts border. They are available in a variety of colors: forest green, earth brown, Nantucket grey, and terracotta -- and included a screen to keep out mosquitoes. When stored properly during the winter, these barrels are very durable and will last for years and years.
