About

Our mission is to protect our town from environmental, economic and community hardships in the future. We are an advisory committee, making recommendations to the town government on how to look into the future and prepare.  The town board voted unanimously to form this task force in December of 2020. Guided by a state program, we seek to take our community’s long standing spirit of care into the changing environment of our current world.  

Through education, empowerment and individual and collective action we hope to demystify climate change. What exactly is happening? What can we do?  It can be overwhelming but knowledge is power and planning is priority.  We all have pieces to contribute and we look forward to figuring out, together, what that looks like.
